Many people choose to visit Asturias, particularly for rural and activity based tourism especially because both can be combined to offer a great variety of possibilities, such as the route I shall show you here. It’s a short route, of low difficulty, apt for everyone, and where you’ll enjoy both hill-walking, nature and a wonderful day out on the border of civilisation. I’ll talk about the route that runs through the Vega de Orandi until Covadonga and I’ll show you a video with some corners which you can enjoy on your walk.
The entire route runs through the National Park of the Picos de Europa, where you’ll find rocky paths, forests and meadows.
We begin our adventure in Moferos, 4km from Covagadonga on the road that will take us to the Lakes of Covadonga. Leer más »

Gran Canaria, as I mentioned in the previous article, has many tourist attractions, one of them being Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is over 530 years old, although it wasn’t until 1478 that it was founded as a city because originally it was a military base. The following link provides more information on the history of the city. (Click).
Las Palmas de Gran Canaria has many tourist spots. Below is a selection of these attractions and I shall talk about them in forthcoming articles:

Ávila, the walled city.
I have passed by Ávila several times either because of sport or work and I have often wondered what there might be beyond these city walls as I drive by.
I finally found the moment to pass through this immense wall and visit every nook and cranny of this city and also film the video included in this article to show you what this marvellous walled city is like. This city was also declared a World Heritage in 1985.
If only the walls could speak! How many stories they would tell! The wall, by the way, is in perfect condition. Leer más »

Nature: The botanic garden of Luis Ceballos.

Climate change is advancing rapidly and people are not doing anything to avoid it.
We are increasingly contaminating our environment and ever more trees are being chopped down, which means that there is more CO2 in the atmosphere and as a consequence the greenhouse effect is increasing. The following link shows you a very good animation film that clearly explains what is happening on our planet. Click here.
Fortunately, and although it may seem very little, initiatives do exit that are of great importance and which help maintain the ecosystem of certain areas and purify contaminated air. One of these initiatives is found at El Escorial (Madrid, Spain): the Botanic Garden of Luis Ceballos.

Some time ago we were on a shoot in the province of Toledo and as it is a tourist destination we visited the region while we were there.
Toledo, the capital of this province in central Spain, is of extreme beauty, but it is not the only urban nucleus that we found here which holds a valuable and important cultural heritage. A clear example is the destination and subject of this article: Torrijos.
Torrijos holds a lot of history and, in my opinion, its people are very proud of their town. You only have to see how well kept the monuments in Torrijos are.
The aim of this article is to offer you an alternative or an additional trip should you visit Toledo. So I shall leave you with a series of links below for you to browse which have further information on Torrijos: Leer más »
