HISTORY: “FORTRESS OF SEGOVIA”

This colossal monument dates between the 11th – 19th century and it was built on the ruins of a Roman fortress. It was modified continuously from Alfonso VI of Spain until Felipe II of Spain.
During the Middle Ages, the Fortress of Segovia was used as a residence for the Kings of Castilla.
If you have the opportunity sometime to visit Segovia, don’t miss this monument – you’ll be amazed.
