HISTORY: “DINOSAURS COAST”

Thousands of years ago, the Earth was not the same as it is today and it was dominated by powerful reptiles, the dinosaurs.
Throughout history, nature has done a great job of conserving fossils of many species that once lived on Earth, enabling us to discover that there was life before we existed. We know that dinosaurs existed from such fossils and we will continue to learn many more things from Nature as she shares her wisdom with us.
One of the areas where we can find dinosaur tracks is on the Cantabrian Coastline, and in particular, in the municipality of Villaviciosa and Ribadesella (Asturias).
At Turismo Natural, we recommend all nature and dinosaur enthusiasts to visit the route that runs along the Dinosaurs Coast and see the tracks they left behind.
