Hi there,
Today we want to take you to a small beach within the parish of Argüero (or Argüeru, in Asturian ‘Bable’), which forms part of the municipality of Villaviciosa: Merón Beach.
The municipality of Villaviciosa is rich in nature, but today we want to talk about the beach of Merón, one of the many beaches you can find along the coast of this municipality; Rodiles beach is the most well-known of the area.
Merón is difficult to access but it isn’t a bad road; you can reach it by car and leave it in the car park by the beach. The route to the beach by car might be a little scary for some, but as you will appreciate in the video, it is worth the visit or to sunbathe on.
Merón Beach is small, beautiful, clean and in the midst of nature…in short, a beach of our dreams – but watch the video and decide for yourselves.
By the way, in previous posts I have written about the Dinosaur Coast. Well, this beach has a site of ichnites (fossilised footprints), which is considered to be a National Monument.
