NATURE: “VALDEVAQUEROS BEACH”

Tarifa

Tarifa, a municipality of the province of Cadiz, is one of those places in Spain that has its own charm. Its people, its nature, its history and gastronomy…all this and more make Tarifa a special place.

To cover all the activities that one can do in the municipality is impossible, so we shall limit ourselves to three:

  • Cetacean sightings: Boat trips offer whale and dolphin sightings.
  • Windsurfing and Kitesurfing: water sports par excellence in Tarifa.

The majority of Windsurfers and Kitesurfers share a common beach found at a few kilometres from Tarifa, called Valdevaqueros. The beach is characterised by its golden sand, the crystal-clear water and above all by the wind. The latter is the reason why wind and kite surfers come to this beach, putting on a colourful display of pirouettes for spectators on the beach to enjoy.
