HILL WALKING: “PICO MORO”

In the municipality of Parres, Asturias, lies Pico Moro, (Picu Moru). This peak stands at 556m.
The walk begins in the capital of the municipality, Arriondas. The first part of the route is done by car; leave the town along the Fuentes road in the direction of Bode; once at Bode, take the road to Trespando, where you will park the car and begin the climb.
There is a great variety of trees along this route and wonderful views.
Once at the summit, while you rest from the climb and fill your lungs with the pure mountain air, you will be privilege to unbeatable panoramic views: Parque Nacional de Picos de Europa, River Sella, Arriondas and their neighbouring municipalities.
A perfect walk for nature lovers.
