Nov 25, 2009 Activities, Asturias, Sea, Nature, Landscapes, Beach, Tourism, Asturias Tourism, Villaviciosa Tourism, Villaviciosa
One of the most important beaches in Asturias is found in the municipality of Villavicios: “Rodiles Beach”.
The beach lies next to the mouth of the Estuary of Villaviciosa (Partial Natural Reserve), along part of the Jurassic Coastline.
Rodiles is known for: its natural surroundings, its immense beach, the dunes and their vegetation, the “ocalita” (large eucalyptus plantation) where you can shelter from the sun and of course, water sports.
